Carlos is originally from Tacoma, Washington. After struggling with addiction, gang affiliation, and incarceration, things became unmanageable, and he chose to come to Prescott to change his life. With the support of his family, he came to Holdfast Recovery, where he worked on building a new life for himself. After completing the program, Carlos showed a willingness to leave his old self in the past and a dedication to helping those who have struggled like him. He is now attending Grand Canyon University to get his bachelor’s in Behavioral Health and Science to become a Substance Abuse Counselor. Carlos has connected with his faith through the program and is a firm believer in integrity, accountability, and honesty. He loves to help others and goes above and beyond to provide a safe environment where clients can work on themselves and find their faith and path to recovery.
