To be effective in achieving our purpose at Holdfast Recovery, we believe it is critical for our staff and clients to support our core values while at Holdfast Recovery.  Our core values help set clear expectations on who we are and how we treat others.  These values are imperative to the success of our community as well as our ongoing pursuit of excellence in what we do.  

Honesty and Integrity 

• We conduct ourselves with honesty and integrity in everything we do.  This is a fundamental principle in how we operate with our clients, staff, and everyone we interact with.  Without honesty we cant have trust, without trust relationships, our work, and therapeutic process will suffer. (Proverbs 11:3)

Love

• At Holdfast Recovery we are not afraid to talk about love.  We love our team and we love our clients.  While the word love has many connotations and can sound  “mushy”, the reality is that the healing power of love is strongly backed by science, is quantifiable and can’t be ignored.  At Holdfast recovery, we are not a place of judgment or condemning but a place of love.  The number one recurring statement in client graduations is “Holdfast loved me more than anyone has”.  The healing power of love is beyond measure and there is a reason it is mentioned in the bible well over 300+.  Love covers a multitude of sins and at its core sets a standard to live by: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). 

Servant Leadership 

• At Holdfast Recovery we put others first, serving with love and compassion.  Our staff and clients are continually  striving to grow with a servant leadership mindset fostering growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. Not with selfish ambitions but in the service of others. (Galatians 5:13)

Perseverance 

• Life, recovery, relationships, work, etc. are all full of trials and tribulations.  However, people were created with an amazing ability to be resilient to life’s challenges and adapt and grow.  We were created to preserve, not with a spirit of timidity but a spirit of courage and strength.          We do this together as a team,  leaning on each other, building each other up.  As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another. (James 1: 2-8)

Passion 

• At Holdfast Recovery we are passionate.  We are passionate about our clients, we are passionate about recovery, and we are passionate about serving Christ and life in general .  We believe life is an adventure and and meant to be enjoyed.  We encourage our clients and our staff to live life with passion and pride in whatever they do.  We encourage them to stand up for what they believe and be courageous standing firm in their beliefs with a warriors heart.
